We’re based in San Luis Obispo, California — and everything we make reflects the hospitality culture of the Central Coast.
From Behind the Bar
Root Elixirs was founded by Dominique Gonzales, a hospitality professional with about 15 years of experience working in bars and restaurants across California's West Coast.
After years behind the bar, Dominique kept coming back to the same observation: the care that makes a great cocktail — fresh citrus, balanced flavor, thoughtful ingredients — rarely makes it into people’s everyday lives. Not because they don’t want it, but because the prep gets in the way.
Root Elixirs was created to change that.

What We Make
Root Elixirs makes sparkling cocktail and mocktail mixers crafted with real fruit, real citrus, and bar-quality flavor. Each flavor is designed to work beautifully with your favorite spirit — or just as well on its own over ice.
Our Strawberry Lavender mixer is made with lavender sourced from Hambly Farms in Paso Robles, just up the road from our home base in San Luis Obispo.
Root Elixirs is a 100% woman-owned brand, and a proud part of the Central Coast food and beverage community. We’ve been recognized by Visit SLO CAL and local media as part of the region’s growing hospitality scene.
